Flora London Marathon 2007
London physiotherapist Lara Finbow ran the 2007 Flora London Marathon on behalf of MAP. Lara was selected from a large number of applicants because of her experience, motivation and commitment to MAP's goals.
Lara is 26 years old and took up running while at Kings College in London. This was her first marathon and she raised a significant amount in support of MAP's work.
The 2007 Flora London Marathon took place on Sunday 22 April 2007.

RED?
Love is red
Mum would say
Only if she were here
Why didn’t she stay?
I wanted to show her
What the streets have become
Red is all I see
It makes me glum
I wanted to ask her
How can Love
be red?
When the only red I see
Is the blood of the dead
Where do I go?
What will I do?
Without her I won’t survive
I know that’s true
What have I done?
Why is this happening?
What’s wrong with these people?
Why are they killing?
They must be blind
If they cannot see
We’re just like them
Including me
Now that I’ve seen
All the shooting they’ve done
I know for sure
I’m going to die by the gun...
