World Refugee Day

(Christian Aid) 4.8 million Palestinians are living as refugees. This report looks at how addressing this issue will help unlock the peace process.
Despite competing narratives and differing interpretations of the role that international law can play, we challenge policy makers in the UK and Ireland and the wider international community, including in the Middle East itself, to recognise that any resolution to the Palestinian-Israeli conflict requires a comprehensive approach to peace that has hitherto been absent. This, by definition, includes resolving the refugee issue.
