Director Ken Loach in Liverpool Q&A for Palestine

Liverpool Daily Post - FILM director Ken Loach took part in a question and answer session in Liverpool last night.

The talk took place following a screening of his 1993 film Raining Stones, at Fact.

Alongside actor Ricky Tomlinson, who starred in the film, the pair spoke at the event which was organised by Merseyside Stop the War Coalition in aid of Medical Aid for Palestine.

Raining Stones also stars Bruce Jones as Bob, a man struggling to survive on the dole while hustling for any odd jobs he can find, or otherwise pushing the envelope with edgy, foolhardy gigs with his friend Tommy (Tomlinson), as he struggles to raise the funds to afford his daughter's Communion gown.
