The war on Gaza exacerbated a humanitarian situation that was already critical. Childhoods are blighted by the appalling poverty that is the result of Israel's crippling blockade and the physical and psychological effects of last winter's war on Gaza, during which numerous children, many of whom MAP is currently working to help, were witness to the death of loved ones.

We are determined that MAP continues to do everything within our power to help heal the wounds, both physical and psychological, of Gaza's children. Through our psychosocial care programme, MAP is helping the children of Gaza to recover from their psychological wounds and to be children again.
