What is MAP's Charitable Status?

Medical Aid for Palestinians is a Charity registered with the Charity Commission under the Charities Act 1993 (registered charity number 1045315) and is a Company limited by guarantee (registered number 3038352).

How is MAP funded?

In the last financial year, over 98% of our annual income came from the generosity of private individuals and organisations, the vast majority of who reside in the UK.

Many of our donors support MAP on a regular basis through direct debit donations, which help MAP to have a sustainable stream of income that helps to plan future projects and respond to urgent requests for help. If you would like to make a regular gift to MAP, please see our Get Involved section for details.

Each year, MAP holds a Fundraising Dinner, which raises in excess of £200,000. The event is sponsored and supported by a great number of individuals who, through their generousity, fund many important projects.

For further information about MAP's funding, please download our Annual Review 2005.

If you would like a full set of MAP's financial accounts, please contact us and we will send you a copy.
